Kokodak’s owners set out to shake up the Westfield Newmarket food court with a bold, vibrant chicken kiosk that stood out from the crowd. Positioned directly opposite the sushi train, the goal was clear: grab attention, streamline service, and create a flavour-packed space that was both efficient and inviting.

From a tucked-away nook to a high-energy hotspot, Kokodak is a vibrant reimagining of the fast-casual dining experience.
In collaboration with the client, JPPM, and our trusted contractors, we created a layout that balanced operational efficiency with customer flow. Self-ordering stations and a well-planned kitchen support a high-turnover model, while tucked-away seating offers guests a moment of calm amid the bustle.
A bold palette, custom lighting, and a standout ceiling feature echo the brand’s playful personality. Pops of colour, quirky motifs, and curated finishes help Kokodak punch above its size, transforming a small site into a big personality.
The result is a design-forward kiosk that turns heads, drives foot traffic, and elevates the casual dining experience—all while delivering on speed, functionality, and charm.
